This collection is a tribute to the Danish seismologist Inge Lehmann, a leading scientist who discovered that the earth is composed of 4 layers and that its core is liquid and solid. Did you know that until Inge's discovery it was believed that the earth had three layers and that its centre was hollow, as described in Jules Verne's legendary "Journey to the Centre of the Earth"? Inge Lehmann was awarded many important prizes for her discovery, and is also the inspiration for this collection.
This bowling bag has 3 separate compartments, is large-sized and features a back pocket. The main compartment is the central one with zip closure, but there are two compartments with magnet closures, one on each side. It has two hand handles and a removable adjustable shoulder strap. The interior is lined and has pockets.
